The Course

Stair Climb with High Rise Pack
Pick up and carry a high-rise standpipe pack (2-50 foot sections of 1 3/4 inch
hose (weighing approx. 42 pounds) up six flights of stairs (a total of 60 steps).
The hose  load must then be deposited in a box on the top floor.

                Hose Hoist and Stair Descent
From the top of the tower, using a hand over hand motion, pull a 5/8 inch
rope to hoist a donut roll of LDH hose (45 pounds). This evolution is
complete when the donut roll clears the rail and is dropped in the box
on the floor. The competitor then decends the stairs, and must touch every one.

                Forcible Entry
After decending the stairs the competitor must use a 9-pound shot mallet to
drive a 165 pound I-beam a distance of five feet on the Keiser Force Machine.
This event is complete when the end of the beam crosses the five foot line.

                Obstacle Course and Hose Advance
Competitor must now run a distance of 140 feet through a series of hydrants
in a zig-zag pattern, pick up a nozzle and move a 1 3/4 inch charged hose
straight forward for 75 feet, crack the nozzle, knock over the designated
target, shut off the water and place the nozzle on the ground. Then go
30 feet to the next event.

                 Victim Rescue
The final task is to drag a 175 pound victim (SIMULAIDS's "Rescue Randy")
a distance of 100 feet. This event (and the course) is complete when both
the victim and competitor completely cross the finish line.
